Chat Japan provides guidance, coordination, and support throughout the Japan property process. We are not licensed real estate agents, lawyers, or financial advisors. We work alongside licensed professionals where required by Japanese law and will always be clear about what we can and cannot do directly.
We work hard for every client but we cannot guarantee specific results. Property purchases can fall through. Visa applications can be declined. Renovations can take longer than expected. We will always act in your best interest and communicate clearly when things change.
Our fee structure is agreed in writing before work begins. No hidden fees. No surprises. Initial consultations are free. Any fees for ongoing services will be clearly outlined before you commit to anything.
You agree to provide accurate information about your situation, budget, and goals. Decisions made based on incorrect information you provide are your responsibility. You also agree to communicate promptly when we need your input to move things forward.
We treat everything you share with us as confidential. We do not share your personal information, financial details, or property interests with third parties without your consent, except where required by Japanese law.
Chat Japan is not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on our guidance, delays caused by third parties including agents, lawyers, or government offices, or circumstances outside our control including market changes, natural disasters, or changes in Japanese law.
You may end your engagement with us at any time. Any fees already incurred for work completed will still apply. We reserve the right to end an engagement if we determine we are not able to help you effectively.
If something goes wrong we would much rather talk it through than go to court. Please contact us first at info@chatjapan.world. If we cannot resolve it between us, disputes are governed by Japanese law and handled in the courts of Japan.
