We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site. This data does not identify you personally. Cookies. Our site uses cookies — small files stored on your device. We use session cookies to make the site work properly and analytics cookies from Google to track usage. Some third party tools on our site may also set their own cookies. Payments. When you pay for our services we use a third party payment processor. They collect your payment details directly. We do not store your card number or payment credentials on our systems. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made.

Chat Japan is based in Japan. If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom your data may be transferred to and processed in Japan. Japan has been assessed as providing adequate data protection by the European Commission. We take care to ensure your data is handled securely wherever it is processed.
Contact enquiry data — we keep this for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you. If you have not engaged our services and have not been in contact for two years we will delete your information. Analytics data — retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings which you can review at support.google.com. Payment records — kept for as long as required by Japanese tax and accounting regulations, typically seven years.
